Because none of us have the time to say Cassandra Hughes, Cassie is a lone child sent to boarding school. Oh and she has special powers because she is cursed due to her family past. Played by Christina Cole.

Azazeal

Azazeal
Dark and mysterious but most of all just plain evil. He is the leader of the Nephilim which is really not a good thing for Cassie. He basically goes around haunting her. Ok, it's much cooler than I make it sound ;). Played by Michael Fassbender.

Thelma

Thelma
To be blunt, Thelma is a dead lesbian ghost. Basically she was killed by Azazeal as a sacrifice and now only Cassie can see or hear her. Yet people don't find it strange that Cassie is apparently talking to herself. Played by Jemima Rooper.
